If you own a boat you only need one company to do the dirty work for you. Bottom Time Dive Service is the best bang for the buck in the greater Sarasota area. After asking several other marina neighbors and them all recommending Bottom Time, I called Donny the owner and was sold. They came out into Phillipe Creek and cleaned my 21' Cobia Deck Boat now twice now and I couldn't be happier. My diver Jorge did a more thorough job than has been done yet since ive owned my 48' boat in Palmetto FL. There was a substantial "1st time cleaning charge" I wasn't made aware of however. Jorge was very helpful and explained several important things I wasn't aware of about zincs and zinc material. Donnie was very easy to communicate with by phone and text. The appointment was spot on. They worked me into their schedule quickly because my last guy ghosted me. These guys are on the pricey side but worth the extra cost imop. I had reached out to multiple drivers to clean my boat and was stood up or ignored many times. Finally I found bottom time drive service!!!! So professional, did everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it. At the same time I needed my prop replaced. They went in the water 3 times to remove it since the nut was stripped. I can't say enough great things about these guys and I will use them every time from here on out!!!!!! When I was exploring divers to perform hull cleaning on our new-to-us boat, I was immediately impressed when I spoke to Donnie at Bottom Time. Bottom Time has a well thought out process of servicing vessels. From estimating the service to reporting on the condition of the boat's hull at the time of cleaning to replacing the zincs to invoicing and paying for the service, they run a streamlined operation. This made it very easy to engage their services. Now after 1.5 years using Bottom Time, the process is still very predictable. They show up on the agreed to cadence, assess and clean the hull, and within 24 hours we get a written report and invoice. While their operations are efficient, they are also personable and responsive. Every time I call Bottom Time's office Donnie answers the phone. I can't recall a time where I had to leave a voice mail. On one occasion, after a weekend of boating where we hit soft ground, I called Donnie and asked him to have the diver check the prop at the next cleaning. Donnie had a different idea - he said he would personally go out that afternoon to dive the boat and check on the prop which he did and reported back that everything was fine. I hadn't asked him to do it but he willingly volunteered. That was GREAT SERVICE! We are now exploring additional services with Bottom Time including having our boat's bottom painted. We are a very happy Bottom Time client! ~ Jamie S
